1. Student will NOT be allowed to come to or stay in school if: running a fever, vomiting, having diarrhea or unidentified rashes. Children sent home with any of these symptoms will not be re-admitted to school until symptoms have been gone for 24 hours. If a child cannot participate in all school activities (including going outside) they must stay home.
2. If a student requires doctor prescribed medication during school hours, the authorization form must be filled out completely. Teachers cannot give medications to your children without your consent.
3. Students should dress in proper clothing; no sandals, rubber clogs or opened toed shoes.
4. School hours are from 7:05 AM – 6:00 PM. If a student is bringing breakfast they must arrive by 8:15 AM. Please DO NOT send cookies or candies for breakfast or snack. Class starts at 8:30 AM, it is important to be here on time.
5. If you want your child to use sunscreen it would be ideal to put it on at home, but if you want more sunscreen applied during the day please fill out the authorization form and place the sunscreen in the utility cabinet out on the playground. Be sure that your child’s name is on it and DO NOT leave the sunscreen in your child’s locker or backpacks.
6. Students should not bring toys, jewelry and personal items to school. The school is not responsible for lost or broken belongings.
7. Please keep the phone numbers and emergency contacts up to date in your child’s folder, so someone can always be reached in case of an emergency.
8. All students should keep a full set of clothes at school labeled with their names.
9. All students should bring a small blanket and sleeping mat cover (22”x46”) for nap time.
10. All children need to be toilet trained in order to attend preschool.
